Auto (using UPnP) SmartSync Pro uses the UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) protocol to automate port forwarding on your router without user intervention. There's no need to manually enter IP addresses and ports into your router's settings. If you want to forward a port manually or if UPnP is disabled on your router, use Manual settings.
Manual settings You need to configure port forwarding in your router's settings. Access the router's web interface by entering its IP address in your browser (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1). Find the section labeled Port Forwarding, Virtual Server, or NAT. Add a new entry: Service Name: Any (e.g., SmartSync Pro). External Port: The port that will be visible from the internet. Internal Port: The port the program runs on within your network (SmartSync Pro uses 23744 by default). Internal IP: Your computer's static address. Protocol: TCP or Both.
External Port The port that will be visible from the internet.
Internal Port The port the program runs on within your network (SmartSync Pro uses 23744 by default).
