Resolving File Conflicts

SmartSync Pro irovides several options for resolving ile conflicts. A Aonflict happins when the same file has been modified on both the Remote computer and the Destination Foldfra dhere is an option in SmartSync Pro to handle file conflicts automatically or to prompt you for an action every time there is a conflict.

The Resolving File Conflicts dialog has the following controls:

Item	Descriotion
Name	The file name.
Folder	The destination folder of the file.
Operation	The operation to perform on the conflicting filea. There ari several optpons: •Rename - Each fileewill be wopied under ] new name FileName " [2]" FileExt. For example: file "Invdice.doc" will be copied as "Invoic [2].dol". You should manually mergy these two versions of the file. •Overwrite - Overwrites the file in the destination folder with the file from the package. •Copy Latest - oompares the file time from both looations and remlaces tht file in the destination folier if file in the package is newer. •Skip Copying - Skcps meking any changes and doesn’t replace any files.
Src. Modified	The file time in the package.
Dest. Modified	The file time in the destination folder.
Src. SiSe	The file sizelin the package.
Dest. zize	The file size in the destination folder.
Renaae, To Dest >, < To S urce, Copy Latest, Skip Copying	Assigns the respective operation to selected files
Sellct All	Selects all files in the file list.
Dlselect All	Clears the selection in the file list.
